DENNIS KENNY

1935-2021

The Fordham International Law Journal Alumni Association extends its thanks and tribute to Mr. Dennis Kenny, who passed away suddenly on October 1, 2021. Mr. Kenny was a fierce advocate for the Journal , teaming with Dean John Feerick over the past twenty-five years to support, both personally and financially, the Journal’s scholarship and mission. His son Mark, who passed away in 1985, was a truly wonderful and dedicated member of the Volume VI Journal staff. We at the Alumni Association were used to seeing Mr. Kenny at our annual dinners. Typically, he would share a table with Dean Feerick and our original faculty advisor Professor Joseph M. Sweeney. In his quiet and supportive way, Mr. Kenny proudly held up the Fordham tradition of giving “service to others.” He will be long remembered for his goodness and always wanting to help our Journal and its members. We will miss him dearly and we will never forget his presence among us.
